๐Ÿ”– Booking 4 questions

Yes โ€” you can book directly on our website and save money by avoiding the service fees charged by third-party listing sites like Airbnb and VRBO. We guarantee secure payment through our online credit card processor, which is directly connected to our reservation system.

All our San Diego vacation rentals require at least a two-night minimum stay. There are no exceptions to this rule, due to San Diego’s laws pertaining to minimum vacation rental requirements.

Minimum age: 25 years old. If you are not traveling with a family or guardian(s), we reserve the right not to allow bookings unless everyone in the party is at least 25 years of age.

If booked on our website, the property will be put on hold until the vacation rental agreement is signed and returned. You will then receive a reservation confirmation and payment receipt.

45 days prior to arrival, you’ll receive a reminder notice of the remaining balance due. One week before arrival, we’ll send entry instructions including steps to take if you need a lock box for your arrival.

We’ll send an email with specific arrival and departure instructions for each property. We inspect all properties before arrival and after departure to ensure the property is ready and to note any maintenance needs.

Upon departure, guests are required to:

  • Place all dishes and utensils in the dishwasher and start a cycle; clean any other cooking items.
  • Pick up all trash or garbage inside and outside the property and bag it.
  • Take garbage to trash cans and place cans out for pick-up (if applicable that morning).

Early check-in is not permitted unless purchased separately or approved by Titan Beach Rentals staff. Please also refrain from arriving at the property early to use parking, as our inspector and cleaners also need access to available parking spaces during turnover.

Late check-out is not permitted unless purchased separately or approved by Titan Beach Rentals staff. Please contact us in advance if you’d like to arrange this โ€” availability varies by property and season.

Note: Failure to check out by 10:00 AM may result in a $100 late departure fee.
๐Ÿ’ณ Payments & Cancellations 3 questions
At booking: 33% of the total reservation (if booking more than 45 days before arrival).

45 days before arrival: Remaining balance due in full.
60+ days before arrival: Subject to a $170 cancellation fee. Remainder refunded.
Within 60 days of arrival: No refund unless we are able to rebook the property, or a refund is expressly granted by Titan Beach Rentals or the Owner.

For bookings made through Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com, please refer to the cancellation terms on those platforms.

Titan Beach Rentals and the Property Owner are not liable for any circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to mechanical failures, road construction, unfavorable weather, conditions in areas surrounding the property, or disruption of utility services (including cable TV). Weather cancellations are subject to our standard cancellation policy.

๐Ÿงน Housekeeping 2 questions

Mid-stay housekeeping is available for an additional charge. The fee may differ from your initial cleaning fee. To arrange a mid-stay clean, please contact our staff at (619) 800-1468.

No. All properties must be professionally cleaned by our approved, insured vendors. This is a health and safety requirement โ€” our approved vendors carry proper insurance and liability coverage, and meet our company’s cleaning standards. Outside cleaners are not permitted.

๐Ÿ“‹ House Rules 5 questions

No more than the maximum occupancy stated in the property listing are permitted at any time without prior approval from Titan Beach Rentals. If you’re planning a family dinner or small gathering, this may be approved by our staff โ€” please let us know in advance. Some events also require HOA approval.

Bachelor/bachelorette parties and any unauthorized gatherings over maximum occupancy are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate eviction.

All homes are located in dense residential communities with strict City of San Diego noise ordinances. Pre-approved dinner parties or small gatherings are permitted with written permission only. All guests must also adhere to the San Diego Good Neighbor Policy.

No smoking of any substance is allowed inside the property or in any common areas shared with other residents. Violations will result in damage charges and may lead to immediate termination of the stay.

Pets are not permitted outside of select pet-friendly properties, which are identified on our website. At pet-friendly properties, you are responsible for controlling your pet and adhering to all house rules. Any damages or noise violations related to your pet may result in damage charges or early termination of your stay.

Yes, packages may be delivered to the property during your stay. However, subscription services and mail are not permitted unless you are staying for 30+ nights and have been approved via a lease agreement. Titan Beach Rentals is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

๐Ÿ  Amenities & Supplies 5 questions

All properties come with a starter kit including:

  • One roll of paper towels
  • Dish soap and hand soap
  • Cleaning sponge
  • Two trash bags
  • Two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
  • Bath soap

Anything beyond this starter supply is the guest’s responsibility โ€” this is standard across all San Diego vacation rental properties.

Linens and bath towels are included with all our properties. However, you are responsible for washing and reusing them during your stay. Our cleaners do not deliver replacement or extra sets unless there is an emergency.

Cable packages vary by property. Our standard offering is basic cable plus sports and news packages including ESPN, ESPN 2, Fox Sports, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.

All our properties include complimentary internet access. We cannot guarantee premium-tier speeds or bandwidth for streaming on multiple devices simultaneously. If you need to work remotely or videoconference from the rental, please contact us to check the internet speed at your specific property before booking.

Availability varies by property. We recommend contacting our partner Babys Away for any baby or toddler items you need. For a rental fee, they can deliver items directly to the property prior to your arrival and pick them up after your departure.

๐Ÿ–๏ธ Beach Items & Regulations 1 question

The majority of our properties come with beach towels, a few beach chairs, and boogie boards and/or beach toys. We cannot guarantee these items for every reservation or that there will be enough for each person in the party. You’re welcome to bring your own beach items including tents and canopies.

All guests must follow all San Diego beach regulations, which include no smoking or alcohol on the beach.

Fire pits: Where fire pits are provided, they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Open beach fires outside containers are prohibited. Fires are not allowed between midnight and 5:00 AM. Only wood, charcoal, or paper products may be used as fuel โ€” no higher than 12 inches above the fire container’s upper edge. The fire must be fully extinguished before leaving the beach.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Keys, Lost & Found, and More 2 questions

We provide two sets of keys or keyless entry for all our properties. If you need an extra set, please contact our office to speak with a team member.

Any lost HOA or building key is subject to a $25 service fee, plus the cost to purchase a replacement.

Please inspect the property thoroughly before departure. Our staff and cleaners will also inspect for items left behind. However, Titan Beach Rentals and the Owner are not responsible for personal property left after check-out or in cases of theft, damage, or any other loss.

If an item is found after departure: $25 return charge plus the cost of shipping and packaging, paid in advance. Items left unclaimed after 30 days will be donated. Items over 10 lbs or shipped internationally may incur an additional fee.
