Terms & Conditions
Please review all terms before your stay. By booking with Titan Beach Rentals you agree to the conditions outlined below.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations made directly with Titan Beach Rentals. For bookings made through third-party platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com), the terms on those platforms also apply where noted.
All guests are additionally required to follow the San Diego Good Neighbor Policy, which covers noise limits, parking rules, trash guidelines, and City of San Diego STRO requirements.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Titan Beach Rentals maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding illegal conduct, excessive noise or neighbor disturbances, unauthorized parties, and HOA violations. All terms are strictly enforced and are agreed upon at the time of booking.
Titan Beach Rentals serves as a manager and/or booking agent for properties which are privately owned and operated by clients of Titan Beach Rentals.
Reservations are not confirmed until a fully completed Rental Agreement has been received and approved by Titan Beach Rentals. A request may be subject to cancellation if the Rental Agreement is not received within 24 hours.
Should there be any issues with the reservation request, you will be contacted within 24 hours after receipt of the completed and signed rental agreement.
The minimum age to book a property is 25 years old. If you are not with a family or guardian(s), we reserve the right not to allow bookings unless everyone in the party is at least 25 years of age.
No more than the maximum occupancy stated in the property listing are permitted at the property at any time without prior approval from Titan Beach Rentals. Violations are subject to immediate eviction and forfeiture of the full reservation balance.
Bachelor and bachelorette parties, or any other party beyond maximum occupancy (unless otherwise approved in writing), are not permitted. Parties of any kind that might disturb the peaceful enjoyment of neighbors are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate eviction. All homes are located in dense residential communities with strict City of San Diego noise ordinances in place and enforced.
It shall be unlawful for any person to make, continue, or cause to be made or continued, within the limits of said City, any disturbing, excessive, or offensive noise which causes discomfort or annoyance to any reasonable person of normal sensitiveness residing in the area.
Any unauthorized or non-approved gathering over maximum occupancy may result in forfeiture of all rent monies paid, immediate termination of the rental agreement, and responsibility for any resulting damages — including physical damage and any citations or fines (including CAPP program fines) imposed by any governmental agency.
Pets are not permitted except at specifically designated pet-friendly properties. Bringing a pet to a non-pet-friendly property will result in forfeiture of deposit, termination of the rental agreement with no refund for unused days, and responsibility for all damages caused by the pet up to a maximum of $3,000.
Titan Beach Rentals and the Owner are not responsible for personal property and belongings left in the property after check-out, or in cases of theft, damage, or any other loss.
No smoking of any substance is permitted in the property or in any common areas shared with other residents. If smoking occurs on the property or common areas:
For all third-party bookings (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) please refer to the cancellation terms on each respective platform.
For all third-party bookings (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) this section does not apply. For all direct reservations, Guest agrees to provide a valid credit card for the duration of the reservation as a guarantee.
Guest certifies they have read and agree to abide by the terms of this agreement, and authorizes Titan Beach Rentals to charge any rental amounts, taxes, security deposits, extra cleaning fees, missing property, damages not covered under the Damage Waiver, and fines or charges pertaining to violations of this agreement. All credit card sales are final.
Should Titan Beach Rentals be unable to recover costs from the card on file, Guest is responsible to provide an alternative method of reimbursement within 48 hours of notification.
Every effort is made to ensure all information and photos are accurate and complete. However, Titan Beach Rentals is not liable for errors, omissions, price adjustments, or changes made by the Owner in furnishings, equipment, bed arrangements, or other accommodations.
Each property listing identifies available parking. Many parking spaces and garages at beach properties are small and cannot accommodate trucks, SUVs, or other large vehicles. Please review the property page for parking dimensions. We cannot guarantee that your vehicle will fit.
Most properties do not have air conditioning — fans will be provided but are generally not needed given San Diego’s mild coastal climate. Where air conditioning is available, it shall not be set below 72°F. Heat shall not be set above 78°F. Fan settings shall be set to “Auto.” Doors and windows shall remain closed when heat or air conditioning is in operation. There are no refunds for lack of, or malfunctioning, HVAC units.
Any appliance malfunction will be addressed as quickly as possible. There may be a delay before a repair person and/or required parts are available. If reasonable efforts are made by Titan Beach Rentals to address the malfunction, no refund will be granted.
Titan Beach Rentals and the Property Owner will not be liable for any circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to mechanical failures, road construction, unfavorable weather, conditions in areas surrounding the property, or disruption of utility services (including cable TV). There will be no guarantee of relocation, rental prorates, or refunds in the event of such circumstances.
The Guest is responsible for exercising due care in the use of the property and returning it in the same condition it was received, except for normal wear and tear and normal cleaning of linens, contents, and property. The Guest is responsible for the conduct of all who inhabit the property and any other guests or invitees who enter the property.
If the vacation rental property in which you are booked is sold by the Owner, or becomes unavailable due to any circumstances beyond our control, Titan Beach Rentals will offer you an alternate unit at that unit’s prevailing market rate. The Guest shall be responsible to pay any difference in rental amount should they accept alternate accommodations. If relocation is not possible, a full refund will be returned to the Guest promptly.
Check-out: No later than 10:00 AM on the departure date. Failure to depart on time may result in a $100 fine.
Early Check-In and Late Check-Out options are available for an additional fee if scheduled in advance and subject to availability. These options are not available during Peak Summer season. Early Check-In allows arrival at least 3 hours before regular check-in; if the property is available earlier, access will be granted as soon as the property is ready.
In lieu of or in addition to a Security Deposit, a Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. The Damage Waiver is non-refundable.
Certain homes require a Security Deposit at Manager’s discretion. The Security Deposit amount varies by home and may be used to cover damages exceeding Damage Waiver limits. The Security Deposit will be forfeited should Guest violate any terms of this agreement during their stay.
Management and its representatives have the right to enter the property at any time: (i) for the purpose of making necessary or agreed repairs, decorations, alterations, improvements, or maintenance; (ii) to verify Guest compliance with the terms of this Agreement; or (iii) in case of emergency.
Management has the right to enter the property upon reasonable notice of at least 24 hours to show the property to prospective or actual purchasers, guests, mortgagees, lenders, appraisers, or contractors.
Upon termination of occupancy, Guest shall: (i) return all keys or opening devices to the property, including any common areas; (ii) vacate the property and surrender it to Management empty of all persons at the agreed upon time; (iii) vacate any and all parking and/or storage space; and (iv) deliver the property to Management in the same condition, less ordinary wear and tear, as received upon arrival.
If the property is equipped with a spa, hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, pond, decks, railings, bunk beds, bicycles, beach equipment, or beach toys (collectively “Special Features”), it is the Guest’s responsibility to learn about safety precautions concerning their use. Guest acknowledges use of Special Features is at their own risk.
Guest understands that the area surrounding Special Features may not be fenced or considered secure. Guest agrees to explain the risks to all guests at the property — particularly children, persons intoxicated, those on medication, those with health risks, or pregnant persons. Guest agrees to instruct all occupants not to access any off-limit or unsafe sections of the property including rooftops.
Guest assumes full responsibility for making all occupants aware of these risks and is solely responsible for any accidents that may occur.
Guest agrees to release, hold harmless, and indemnify Titan Beach Rentals and the Owner from and against all liability should anyone be injured at the property during the term of occupancy, resulting from any cause whatsoever — except in the case of personal injury caused by the intentional acts or gross negligence of the Owner or Titan Beach Rentals.
In consideration of the right to visit the home, Guest agrees to release to the fullest extent allowed by law, Owner and its Management, members, officers, associates, employees, agents, representatives, attorneys, assigns, and affiliates from all liability or responsibility of any kind whatsoever for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss sustained by Guest, their minor children, any identified guest, or any person or pet allowed onto the property during the rental dates — due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation negligence on the part of Owner or Management.
Guest understands that this release will bind their heirs, administrators, executors, and any other person or entity seeking to claim under or through Guest.
Time is of the essence. This Agreement is intended as a final expression with respect to the general subject matter covered and may not be contradicted by evidence of any prior agreement or contemporaneous oral agreement.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and cannot be altered, modified, or added to except in writing signed by all parties. The parties further intend that this agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of its terms and that no extrinsic evidence whatsoever may be introduced in any judicial or other proceeding involving this Agreement.
Guest Acknowledgement
By signing below, Guest confirms they are in agreement with all material set forth above and acknowledges that they understand and accept the terms of this agreement.
